HAIR STYLIST

In the hair stylist role, you will shampoo, blow-dry, cut, color, and style the customer’s hair. You will be responsible for making the customer feel relaxed and pampered throughout the session. You must maintain extensive knowledge about current trends in haircuts, styling, techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Style hair including blowouts, curls, braids, ponytails, weave installations (sew ins - bond ins - micro links - tape ins - etc.)
• Help clients decide on their desired hairstyle while maintaining healthy hair
• Maintain a clean work area
• Keep a clean station, trolly, and sanitize all tools
• Check the cleaning chart daily - ensuring your daily task is complete
• Develop ongoing relationship with clients
• Communicates clearly and has strong active listening skills
• Open to learning new techniques and perfecting current skills
• Capture content of before and afters

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An active cosmetology license in the state of Florida

• Starting 16.00 per hour or commission base plus 100% of tips directly to the artist
